The design of the trim
- Curved trim: This could be used in the most common application. This kind of trim is mostly suitable for low pressure drop conditions. Curved trim has a deformed plug head. It also has a kind of slide curve surface allowing the fluid getting through it and allowing the high pressure drop.
- Soft sealing trim: This could be used in tight shut-off applications to assure the maximum shut-off.
- Wedge trim is the most ideal choice for the micro flow applications. This kind of guiding structure could deal with high pressure drop and keep it stable. The design of this trim makes it have a good rangeability.
